A cookie is a small piece of text a website keeps in your browser. Websites can also keep information in your browser's storage. This page lists everything wdhf.ca keeps there.
What the site stores
- cookie_consent is a cookie set by this site when you close the cookie notice. It remembers that you have seen the notice and the date you closed it, so it doesn't come back on every page. It lasts 12 months.
- wdhf-newsletter-dismissed is kept in your browser's local storage when you close the newsletter pop up, so it doesn't keep appearing. It stays until you clear your browser's data.
- sentryReplaySession is kept in your browser's session storage by Sentry, our error reporting service, for the length of your visit. It links the pages of one visit together if something breaks, so the problem can be traced. It is cleared when you close the tab.
These are needed for the site to work the way it should, so they can't be switched off from the cookie notice.
Paying on the site
On the pages where you give or buy tickets, the card fields are provided by our payment processor, Clover, and load from Clover's servers. Clover may set its own cookies there to process your payment securely, under Clover's privacy policy. They are needed to pay, so they aren't optional.
What the site doesn't use
The site has no analytics, advertising pixels, social media trackers, chat widgets or embedded maps or videos. Our fonts are served from this site, so your browser doesn't contact Google Fonts. The newsletter sign up opens on Mailchimp's own site, where Mailchimp's cookie policy applies.
Your choices
You can see the cookie notice again with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. The site still works if you do, and the notice will appear again. For any question, email info@wdhf.ca or call (306) 842-2626.
